The city uses tax payer dollars to send propaganda piece against CCA.
Council adds compromise CCA 7.1 to the agenda, but it fails to clear the 5 votes needed to be an emergency when council members Sturm, Holt and Berry vote against the emergency measure. It is then withdrawn so they can vote on the original CCA.
Council unanimously votes to add the original CCA to the ballot in November.

Council was supposed to have the second reading and vote to put the CCA on the ballot in November, but they postponed to see the result of the lawsuit in Trenton (hoping they could find a way to not put it on the ballot).

The Franklin County Board of Elections sent us the letter we've been waiting for. The Community Consent Amendment is officially certified for the November 4, 2026 ballot. * Total signatures submitted: 2,181 * Valid signatures: 1,581 * Signatures required*: 1,138. Now we wait for City Council to put us on the agenda to approve the measure for the ballot!
The city delivered our signature packets to the Board of Elections to be cured. Once they have validated the 1138 signatures required, they will return it to the council for the next step. Stay tuned!
At 9:34AM the 2187 signatures to get the CCA on the ballot were turned in to the Clerk of Council. Next step is that those signatures are passed to the Board of Elections for signature verification.

Reported call from Mayor Ike Stage to Pleasant Twp Trustees informing them that there are plans to annex approximately 300 acres of land into Grove City on Rensch Rd.
