The Franklin County Board of Elections sent us the letter we've been waiting for. The Community Consent Amendment is officially certified for the November 4, 2026 ballot. * Total signatures submitted: 2,181 * Valid signatures: 1,581 * Signatures required*: 1,138. Now we wait for City Council to put us on the agenda to approve the measure for the ballot!
The city delivered our signature packets to the Board of Elections to be cured. Once they have validated the 1138 signatures required, they will return it to the council for the next step. Stay tuned!
At 9:34AM the 2187 signatures to get the CCA on the ballot were turned in to the Clerk of Council. Next step is that those signatures are passed to the Board of Elections for signature verification.
Protect Grove City announced a petition drive to amend the city charter with a requirement that when Heavy Industrial businesses want to come to our city, the citizens get a direct say!
